 Anonymous writes "I would like to appreciate the information birdlife Wakkerstroom they provide to the students of Uthaka Secondary School, this year on the Abour week i was at the school and i 've seen one of the Wakkerstroom Birdlife delegates visit the school to teach them about the essential of the natural features like grass and trees. I was thrilled to see that and i would like if the organization could provide the metric students about the inquiry of bursaries on the Tourism development and apprise them how to become one of the member of the Birdlife near future. I am the one of the example that last year in my metric, i was interested to enroll in the Tourism industry, but due to the lack of information i end-up enrolling in the course that i don't like. I have tried to give the little information to them about how to register on the tertiary education but i steel don't have a general information about the industry. Currantly i like the development i have seen in the place based on tourism.

Elsa writes "Our dearly beloved Yorkshire Terrier ran awaqy from us on the 8th of November. We live on Uys street and she was last seen heading towards the foot of the mountain. We have looked everywhere and found no body. Im sure a lot of you will know about her.

An Association is being formed to legally battle this threat. The WT Assoc. ; Heritage Assoc. BLSA, EWT & numerous farmers have already joined forces but we need funding. A bank account will be opened. Our intention is to declare Wakkerstroom and surrounding areas a "NO GO" zone and prevent prospecting and mining in the future, ensuring that the area is kept & developed as a sustainable tourism & conservation area.
